Brent surprised me by getting tickets to see Lewis Black as soon as the went on sale (incredible seats) and not telling anything about them, just coming home on Friday and saying he hoped I hadn't picked up any shifts over the weekend because I needed to be "free" on Sat. night ( Read more... )

OMG! The opening act, whose name escapes me at this moment, he's on the far right, looks JUST like my Dad's VERY Jewish looking uncle (who happens to BE very Jewish!) He's the sweetest guy. I miss seeing him at family stuff.

Incidentally, the man looks NOTHING like my uncle in real life.

The poor girls, the didn't get any camera action at all! (Hee!)

You can TOTALLY tell Lewis Black is NOT a touchy-feely guy. I mean, well, knowing of him, you'd probably "get that," but seeing him up close, you can feel it. (I still think he'd have copped a feel if he could have gotten away with it, though. ;-)

Yeah, I definitely felt like he fucking HATED the photo-op stuff. The vibes were rolling off him. I didn't care -- I paid for the tickets and dammit, I was gonna get a photo! :-D
