I <3 Dumbledore. He was so goddamned COOL in this book. I hate to think that he was *entirely* wrong about Snape. He might've been half-wrong... I dunno. I'm clinging to that. It just seems too obvious for Snape to be 100% evil....
But much yay for Draco. I loved him for the first time this book.
I refuse to believe that Snape is evil. She is a better writer than that. Dumbledore knew about it all along and that was the plan; Dumbledore would sacrifice himself for Malfoy and Snape's position as Voldemort's #2.
And I love him, and my instincts on literary charachters are never wrong. If this was based on real life I would wonder, but he is my HP Mr. Darcy.
heh, well, at this point i'm not sure 'she's a better writer than that'; but i refuse to believe snape is evil either... well, at least not completely ;) he's still snape, after all.
lol, yes, the 'is this fanfiction?' popped into my head about a thousand times while reading this book. i think it's because the character developement overall was so weak. really, the only people who got any were draco (and thank god, cause he needed it) and slughorn (who was pretty damn awesome)...
To be perfectly honest, I am quite asking myself that question right now :P I have never been homesick before, and it took me a bit to recognize it for what it was.
It'll get better, though. Or so I keep telling myself ;)
