Disney's New Princess

Disney is making a new kids movie called The Frog Princess and everyone is so happy about the fact that she is black .... with the body of Barbie.

Do I applaud them for not depicting her as a stereotypical Black woman or am I appalled that they would attempt to instill anorexia and body issues into the black culture as well?

Why should we white girls be the only ones getting attention from Disney? Equal opportunity fairy tales!

That wasn't the point; the black community is the last bastion of our society that doesn't discriminate agains size, in fact large size is kind of aplauded in African American culture. For that reason I am very disappointed that the new princess will take on a more typical white/model/thin body type instead of what is more acceptable and even adored by the people she is representing.
