Just wanted to explain my answer.

I've read the books 3 times, I know how everything ends, so seeing spoilerific icons doesn't bother me. BUT, I know a lot of people who haven't read the books yet at all, and perhaps for their benefit, spoilery icons should be behind a cut. That's what I did when I made an RotK set. so that's my two cents. :D

Eek! My point of view is diffrent, actually it's the same as yours. I don't see the point if it's faces and all, but quotes or stuff that gives the movie away should. Although...if they are true LOTR fans they would have read the books or seen the trailer by now. Yeah I'm not helping am I lol. Anyway yes that's what I think.

I have to say yes. Even though I've read the books, I'm trying to stay movie spoiler-free until December. It's so much more fun to be surprised! :-P

In the full knowledge that I am the worst kind of snob..

Everytime I see a "CUT FOR SPOILERS!" tag, I have to roll my eyes. Please. None of these are spoilers to people who have read the books. It really isn't such a big mystery what is going to happen.
