I actually found out about the band Tuatha De Danann from researching the Tuatha De Danaan, oddly enough. I was nursing a HUGE Celtic-obsession a few months back, and if you like Irish mythology you should check out the work of the author Juliet Marillier (especially Daughter of the Forest, my favourite by her). There's a compilation I have, also, of William Butler Yeats retelling old Irish folk tales. It's very good!

As is Tuatha De Danann, the band.

I'm half Greek and m pleased to hear you are obsessed with the nation. And I do the same thing when it comes to the excruciating minutiae of how nations and other things are named. The etymology of Denmark is new to me, however :)

Research about something one cares about is so much fun.
