Thursday was dinner at Olive You with cyberangel.
Friday dinner with guntharr at same and then stopped at [non LJ]Gretchen's house prior to heading out to Snohomish.
What was out there you say? Well we attended the wonderful birthday party for elocinnuala and shimmeringjemmy.
I also finally talked with sidhefire without yelling over Grind music. Of course the lovely skarlett was in attendance as well.
Snohomish was a beautiful drive. We arrived at about 8:30 and weren't the last ones there by a long shot. Saw lots of OLO people who I knew and had much good beverages and food. Note to self: White chocolate martini. Pretty girls, handsome men. Rah! Lovely time!!! Keep me in mind for new year's, I will bring ferretrocker for sure.
After a time, I was tired and wanted to go. I was a little glowy from the couple of cocktails earlier, so Ryan drove me back around 11 or midnight. Dropped him off at his place to his lovely jennybbad all safe and sound. Yay!
Called ferretrocker, he'd just left Erotic City but wasn't far so he was able to turn around and meet me there. We spent some lovely time together, then he tucked me in as I was staying overnight. Woke up up at about 8:30am and got ready for my set up shift.
The next morning I met with Dusty, johnblack13, and byrdie. We kicked butt! Bonus: Dusty and John were able to score big with additional linens for the club - they were so juiced about it. While they were gone byrdie and I worked on lights together. After we did that it was about 11:30 and I went out to grab lunch to go. Came back and ate then Dusty and I did Annex set up. Was done by about 2pm. Great job all.
Then it was back to Auburn to meet my love ferretrocker at his house. We then went to the Supermall to get new phones. We both ended up with the Nokia 6133, and so far we like them. No we didn't join our plans yet. ;)
The rest of Saturday consisted of a wonderful lunch then movies at home. Clerks and Clerks II. Love those movies. Afterwards we hung out and played games on our phones. Yes, I know. Pathetic.
Sunday morning we slept in and the boy left once he got restless. I put in a load of laundry and then came down to his place when I was ready. We watched another movie, this time it was Team America World Police. I remember Thunderbirds [Are Go!] and Stingray. I never liked the puppets much.... That movie was f-ed up. I needed aftercare when it was over. :)
By that time I was really ready for the pool party. Ferret's cousin joined us this time. Was good to see C. at the door, John, Byrdie, Ryan, Jenny, Skippy, Deb and all the rest. Those folks are all here on LJ but "oh hell no" on the doing anymore lj user tags. :)
Ferret even got into the pool with me. He's a good swimmer and looks very pretty when wet.
Another highlight was going shopping in Jenny's clothing boxes. Was able to score some nice tops for summer. Thanks girl!
After the pool party it was time to go to the Fires of Lughnasah [sp] staff meeting. It was interesting to know what to expect, and I am glad I attended. Ferret and I are signed up for a Sunday door shift and also to do clean up. Got to figure out what we are going to do for a tent. Whee!
Finally we left the Long House, went for a quick bite in Redmond, and back home to crawl into bed. Sunday nights I always end up really wishing I lived with Ferret, I love our weekends a lot. So, I spent the night with him. Am glad we found each other. We're really learning a lot, and enjoying each other too.
