Alone

Something I have had a problem with all of my life is wanting to do too much. I've always loved lots of things, and wanted to do them. In high school i had that problem with doing sports and theatre at the same time. . . later colorguard and theatre. In college, it became hard to hold up a social life and do colorguard as well, but i fell in ( Read more... )

Sara!!! I really miss seeing you all the time, and guard isn't quite the same this year. I am so afraid of graduating and not knowing what I'm going to do and leaving college and everyone behind. So I potentially understand, but of course I'm not in the same position as you (obviously). If you ever wanna just talk and feel less lonely, give me a call. Everything's a bit crazy right now since I'm trying to get my set up and ready before tech week this sunday, but I'd love to hear from you.
Love!

Going to grad school will be an opportunity to make friends, I think. I think it will be less isolated. Though I have some similar fears, as I just found out to get my B.S. I'll have to be here till almost 2009 (!?!?!?!?!) and most of my friends are graduating THIS YEAR. I have all the fears--what if I don't make friends? Who will I live with if I have no friends? What if I'm lonely and have nothing to do but study plants day in and day out? etc etc
Remember, our living room couch is open to you if you want to come check out the school.

I understand where you're coming from. In fact, honestly, it's one of the reasons I am terrified beyond terrified to graduate in May . . . I just don't know.

But regardless, college, from what my father has told me, forms lifelong connections that you will have a ridiculously hard time recreating anywhere else, simply because of the environment we're in.

I consider you one of those. My lifelong friend that I will keep around, even if you don't want me to be. :)

I miss you lots, and I am hoping we can see each other soon - maybe during Thanksgiving break? Who knows. Just gimme a call sometime stranger, because I truly do miss you and I really don't want you to be alone. *huuuuuuug*
