After a few weeks to get settled in, I went with two of my roommates to look at cats at a few nearby shelters. The results:

so cute. it's good that you got two, cats and dogs do better in pairs! so when no one is home, they have a buddy to play with.

i couldn't have left one, knowing they were brought in together. they were marked as strays, but from what the shelter told me (as well as their behavior regarding people and litterboxes) that was most likely a lie to avoid surrender fees. I did see one clean the other for the first time today, it was adorable.

Awww--gorgeous! Two cats aren't harder to take care of than one, and it's so much better to have two bc they'll play with each other and all that. I miss my cats!
