Asia Family

How do you define a family?

Do you define them by a common last name? Or the same blood? Okay yeah this sound really cheesy, but I don't think your family should only be limited to something like that. In Asian culture, sometime your friends can become your family. It's really easy to fall into the thinking process like that because of how we address each other. "Big sister, little sister, big brother, little brother"

These past months, I've been able to be a part of the most wonderful cast of RP partners and the most wonderful group of friends. And yeah, lol I really do consider them my family. The Asia Family was one of the thing that I've been looking forward to everyday. Even though we all found each other through roleplaying, I think (well yeah, I hope) that our friendships however, is not just playing pretend. I didn't really know how much I was into it until some members left and I was literally in tears for the entire night. I really will miss them. Even though they will be right there.

I don't think you can find a bond like this anywhere. Haha. Who else...have random threads screaming "KIKUUUUU" into the night with you. Who else would comfort you and talk to you and treat you like an actual part of their family even though you're not really related? Who else celebrate mundane things like the Lunar Moon and Christmas Eve with you when your real family neglects you? I...I really do appreciate everything that you guys have done for me.

Wow. I really wanted to type out something more meaningful. Something a little bit less of just a rambling rant. But it doesn't seem like I can pull my thoughts together properly tonight. So uh..I just want to say. Thank you. I love all of you. And I hope that no matter where life is going to take us from now, we'll stay together. Because we're a real family.
