So uh...it's kinda embarrassing to admit this. BUT ANYWAY. The tl;dr version is that I have to go to court in 10 days or so. There is a chance I might lose the case (it's nothing big. I didn't MURDER anyone. I'm just fighting against a traffic ticket. lol). The bail money is $300 in case I don't win. And me, being me, is stupid beyond measure and

Small tip about your ticket. If the cop who gave you the ticket isn't there in court, call for your case to be dismissed. If they say, "let's just move it to a different day", fight it but in a polite and calm way. Do not be rude and never ever interrupt the judge or who is speaking. Say that you both were given orders to be here in court and he didn't even show up and you had to take time out of your day to get there.

Also, beforehand, you could have just talked to the cop after getting the ticket and they could have lessened the fine. Unless you were going really fast(15 to 20 miles over the speed limit) and acting reckless.

Tailgating? Okay, if they cop is there, make sure to ask them if they have evidence of you tailgating, like a video or something.
