Mammoth~~
HI GUYS. How have your 2011 been so far? I was up freezin' my ass in Mammoth Mountain. Now officially dubbed the place that Siren keep forgetting how to spell....
:) My family and I drove up there on the 1st and just came back like...an hour ago. lol
We left at like 7 AM in the morning okay. AND I WAS GONNA SLEEP IN THE CAR FOR 6 HOURS. Apologies for the choice of outfits lol. My mum is so cute. She kept on going WHY DOES IT SAY PAPA??? YOU'RE NOT A PAPA!!!
This is the corner of the car where I sleep in....lol it's very nice and exciting.
Not gonna lie. It's kinda crazy driving anywhere far. Cause if anyone is the stereotype of a city gal, it'd be me. And it's kinda crazy that Los Angeles and THIS is in the same state.
This is some like Hole shit right here. Hahahaha. We drove by this place called Gus' Really Good Fresh Beef Jerky and got some...well. Beef jerky. And banana chips. AND IT WAS REALLY GOOD AND FRESH. lol
And then like 60 or 70 miles before we got to our destination, we stopped by this gas station to get...gas. lol AND IT WAS SO COLD omg. It was far enough that it wasn't snowing. But it DEFINITELY wasn't LA anymore.
My inner fashionista was on vacation...leave me alone. lol
ANYWAY. Remember the desert??
Well that turned into this as we kept on driving!

I only get to see snow literally like once a year so when I do it's still pretty like askfgkasjfhkasjfh!!!!

ANYWAY. SO. The next day. We got up bright and early to go play in the snow!

We took the bus up to the mountain area * v * Hurr hurr. SNOW CHAINS ARE GENIUS!!!
There were these giant Christmas trees there...so pretty lol.
ANYWAY. We went to the...like...idk what they're called. Those lift thingies?? And we asked the people there if it cost money. And they were like "Yeah $25" and my Mum and I were kinda just like ' ^ ' "REALLY..." and then they're like "lol no we're just fucking with you"

THE VIEW WAS BOMBTASTIC THOUGH. So it's alright lol. I LOVE BEING IN THOSE. Even if my little brother kept on rocking back and forth and I kept going OMG BILL STOP.

So we played in the snow for a little bit. And took some pictures. lol....and then my Mum was like I'M BORED. AND I GOT SNOW IN MY BOOTS. So we went into the lounge and literally ordered a bucket of fries...
Or "basket", my bad...lol So unhealthy...
BUT ANYWAY. After. We like needed legit food. So we went back to the like...shopping area. Called The Village and got food \o/ There was this like cool looking restaurant so we hopped into it.
Man you can't even tell there's a 10 years difference. Hahaha THAT'S SO SAD.

This was good lol. It was snowing like a bitch outside though. Cause...even though indoor it looked like this outside

I think I was the most excited one. AS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TELL FROM THESE NEXT SET OF PICTURES. Cause everyone is wearing the "...fuck" face while I'm literally going "OMG THIS IS SO COOL * v * !!!"
And then we went home lol.
Because it was cold....and I spent the entire night on the internet. SO YEAH. It was like being at home. BUT WITH SNOW.
; 3 ; and so we left this morning. WHICH WAS KINDA SAD. Cause I was having so much fun there. lol But I guess it's fun for me cause I see it so little - v - / If I was there for the entire winter I'd probably kill myself.
