Summary: Energetic dogs who get what they want have a habit of going on walks on a pleasant evening
Warnings: Ryuuga the puppy. Maybe some swearwords but potentially nothing more.
"I said keep it down, do you have any idea how loud you are? No, of course not." Deaf dogs rarely did. "Alright, I'll throw the ball."
Light never threw it very far, partially because Ryuuga couldn't hear anything going on around him, and had to be kept on the leash, but also because if it seemed like it was too far away, and too exhausting to go and fetch, the puppy would manipulate the ball into reappearing at Light's feet without actually going to get it himself.
"Ready?" he asked, holding the ball in front of the dog's eyes so that it would pay attention, before soundlessly throwing it a few meters away. Ryuuga dashed off, little legs a blur beneath him, seized the ball in his teeth and came back, all as Light held his breath that nobody - in the meantime - walked between himself and the dog and tripped over the leash.
It was certainly a hazard.
