[Where the remnants are, Liquid is often not far behind. In this case, it's not quite so much intentional; he came to the ice cream shop mostly because free things make him suspicious and he wanted to check it out. But on second thoughts, he should have expected the remnants to be here. Kadaj did seem to have developed an obsession with ice cream. Oops.]

Someone looks grouchy.

And yet you're indulging me. [A sigh.] Just go join Kadaj. I'll take care of this.

The other choice is to kill you, which is highly looked down on in public. And treat me not like the fools you know.

[Liquid's dismissal makes him do exactly the opposite, pulling his badge and card from somewhere (did that tight leather really have pockets?) and presenting them to the girl, smoothing things over ... actually pretty well, he even apologized.]

...and I wasn't treating you like a fool by offering to cover for you. It's my fault the thing got broken after all.

[Liquid could just follow him and troll him more, but... oh, what the hell. He casually leaves a moment or two later, sneaks up behind Yazoo - and dumps ice cream down the back of his neck before running like the wind. Nobody said supersoldiers had to be mature.]

[Stupid Liquid damn inferior humans grumblegrumblegrumble...]

[Monsters, in the daytime? Wait, he's seen these before. He's not sure if hurting Kadaj's pets is a good idea but he's not going down easily. He turns his momentum into a flip forward, onto his hands, and uses that to springboard into a somersault - onto the roof of a nearby shop.]

[Can they climb?]

[Nope, but they can jump pretty high. Not nearly that hight though you'll see them scrambling...

How about a boot in the back though, when Yazoo forms up right behind you?]

[Liquid catches himself before he can fall, instinctively twisting and kicking out towards Yazoo's stomach.]

[argentallure]

[He brings his forearm up to deflect most of the kick and press forward, falling into a more familiar pattern of fighting using his legs and deflecting with his arms. But first he's going to try and knock Liquid off of the building, because damn if that wouldn't be satisfying with his monsters circling below.]

[Unfortunately, Liquid has the balance of a cat. He dives and rolls behind Yazoo, landing on his hands and kicking out behind him, towards Yazoo's head. He doesn't expect it to hit, but if it'll clear some space between them he might be able to react better to this.]

[argentallure]

[He does pull back to let the kick slide harmlessly by, the beginnings of hate bright and ugly in his eyes. He goes after Liquid while drawing Velvet Nightmare, a sweep of a leg aimed for mid torso ending up being a feint, pulling the kick back at the last second before leveling a barrage of bullets at the other.

Ice cream covered hair slaps wetly on the back of his suit.]
