[ Helen certainly hadn't planned this, at least not of this standard. When she'd received a mysterious package to her door (she really should've learned by now) she'd hardly expected it to contain a costume, and moreso at that be a costume that she couldn't remove. Well... that... didn't actually alter her plans but it made her feel a little more awkward about them. As for her plans? Finally pay a visit to Lion's Gate, to see what it was like and to say hello ( ... )

You have a point. [ A point that she hoped would always remain. She took a sip of the wine before asking: ] I'm not disturbing you from anything, I hope?

Not at all. I'm glad you came, I was beginning to get bored.

On Halloween? [ Maybe it was a little too early for any festivities here to have started ] Is there somewhere we could sit?

Most of the fun happened during the masquerade, or when I took the girl's out trick or treating. [Smiles slightly, and nods, ushering her over to a small table near the edge of the dance floor.]

I wouldn't have thought that possible here. [ She took a seat before continuing ] How did they find it?

They loved it. Nana is the only one who can eat candy, but Pino will join her in a sugar induced stupor anyway.

I remember that well. [ It had been enough when it had just been Ashley but after bringing Henry home too? Ooh ] It's good that they have you; there are many that find being here difficult enough but children? [ She hated enough that children were even here, brought here at least - it wasn't a place for them ]

Children, in particular, are very tough. But Pino and Nana act mature for their age when it comes to understanding, and I make sure to reward them for good behavior.

You must be proud. Were they always so mature even prior to their arrivals here?

Pino, perhaps, since she was programmed to be. Nana as well, though her life has been hard.

[ She gave a nod, and then remembering: ] How was their wedding?

I'm glad to hear that. I remember when Nana first mentioned it on the network. [ Utterly adorable.

She took a sip of her wine, an almost chill running through her at the 'chime' of the siren ] A good show for the future, hmm?

She was very excited about it. She woke me up early in the morning by jumping on my bed, that day. [Smirks, taking a sip from his glass.]

I do hope not. If I have my way, Nana won't date until she's forty.

And how did that go?

Forty? [ She gives an amused shake of her head ] That may have the opposite effect.
