[ACTION] OPEN MEETING AT THE NEWCOMER COMMUNITY CENTER
Who: The head committee of the Newcomer Political Party, ALL NEWCOMERS, and some NPC security guards.
When: November 18th. 4:00 pm.
Where: The Newcomer Community Center
Summary: An OPEN MEETING is being held to discuss problems and ideas dealing with Newcomers, the city, and what their next steps should be to help out.
Warnings: Political shenanigans. There should not be any other warnings beyond possible swearing.
There were chairs for everyone who wanted to sit down, a podium in the center where each Newcomer could come and state their case, and what they wanted to be done, with the committee in front of them, all of them sitting at the table in the front. The camera crew was allowed space in the back to record everything, like usual.
Raul Creed would be keeping this meeting on topic and in order as best he could; this was not the time for anything outside of ordinary to happen.
OOC: Okay guys, here’s how it’s going to go. As you can see, there are sections in this log post again, where your character should respond to. For the people who are on the NPP committee, just respond to the first section so that everyone can know who is on the committee as of this moment, and what their occupation is. No one else should reply to this section.
Second section is for everyone else; most specifically, for talk about how to help fellow Newcomers, and come up with ideas for the community center. This is important: This is just about helping other Newcomers, or coming up with ideas for things to happen at the community center, not to have anyone gripe about the companies. Save those for a later date guys, because if your character goes off track, Raul Creed will bring them back on track and have your character go sit down, or kindly ask them to leave.
The third section is for coming up with ideas to help out around the city, like helping the poorer sectors, or ways to get more involved with the political situation with the NPP.
Here is where you tell the group what needs to be fixed, any and all ideas for any situation. Whatever your character brings up will be added to the list in this post that I will keep updating as more ideas come forth.
All NPP board members are welcome to reply to any of the requests or to the damage reports. Everyone is also highly encouraged to use our fourth section, with character reactions to what is being said, to talk to other characters and get a feel for what other people might be thinking and feeling. Don't forget to tag your character in.
