[Yep. It's been a whole month since your last Public Service Announcement, so here's Dr. Yumeno, leaning up comfortably up on the edge of the exam table in a
clinic examination room... one which, notably, is not Skye Medical Center's.
He seems to be in a brighter mood than the past harrowingly stressful few weeks have seen him, smiling, relaxed, and professional.]
Good Afternoon, fellow newcomers. We have some new faces among us, so re-introductions may be in order for those I have missed.
I'm Dr. Daedalus Yumeno, a physician at Skye's Medical Clinic. But today I'm here to welcome you to our new facility, an initiative of the Newcomer Political Party, our free day-clinic, which is located on-site at our recently opened newcomer community center, a blue building at the junction of Baxter/Elmer in Sector 4, near the Towers.
The clinic will be open from 9 to 5, Monday through Fridays. It is currently volunteer-staffed by myself, Dr. Kenzo Tenma, and Dr. Michael Xavier- This should meet our population's needs just fine, for now, but we are currently looking for 2-3 more volunteers with a background in health care.
We do have some affiliation, being supplied through our partnership with Skye and Siren's Port General Hospital, and partially funded through the Newcomer Fund, in order to better meet basic health care needs for all of you, raising the standards of outpatient care in a more immediate and accessible way than the crowded waiting rooms of city hospitals.
Now- if you're uninjured, in good health, or possess healing abilities yourself, you may be wondering of what relevance all this is to you. We'd like to encourage you to come in for a basic check-up exam anyway, so that we have a record of your medical information and any unique needs on file. We acknowledge and adapt our practice to accommodate the special needs of powered peoples, and may be able to help with medical concerns regarding developing abilities. These will be held secure and in full legal confidentiality, only to be released with your express permission to either Skye or SPGH, in the event of an emergency.
We can provide documentation to employers or schools, certified for signing off on basic physicals or drug testing services. We also hope to offer free of reduced-cost vaccinations soon, hold blood drives on-site, along with providing health education materials to keep newcomers informed and updated. Appointments can be set, but we're also welcoming walk-ins.
[Moving forward, he lifts the NV, keeping it settled in his hands while preparing to finish up the recording.]
If there are any further questions, feel free to get in touch with me here over the network, or drop by for a visit in person. Thanks for your time.
