[Well, it was supposed to cure Dizzy, so it should do something right? He pulls it out of his pocket.

When Yosuke spoke, Souji turned towards him, becoming more confused by the second.]

"They"? Yosuke what are you...? Why would we sit down here?

[Kanji shrugs and takes the stimulant. He leaves the questions to Souji, but mutters when it takes effect:]

Oh, man, that's better.

[And then he picks himself up, cracking his neck and stretching his arms a little.]

[He doesn't like the sound of this either. He glances at Souji and nods in confirmation. Then he turns his focus to Yosuke, who... looks different somehow, he's just now realizing. And not just because he's wearing something other than his school uniform. But Kanji stays quiet for the moment.]

[Souji was surprised of course, but at the same time, it made perfect sense. No fog, no Shadows...But there was the problem of where the others were. He nodded slowly, trying to keep his face as neutral as possible.]

...I had a feeling, but...how do you know that already? We've been separated for only a short time.

...You keep referring to us as "you".

I guess it's kind of hard to tell, but it's actually been awhile for me. It's been almost two years since I've been in Inaba.

[This made Souji's eyes widen for a second despite himself. What was Yosuke saying? Two years since he had been in Inaba? Maybe that's what had been "off" with Yosuke before? No--that was impossible. How could he be older than them?

Although Yosuke's body language was telling him there was something...really uncomfortable that needed to be said. Souji wanted to know what was going on but...wasn't sure he wanted to hear it if Yosuke was acting like this about it.]

That is kind of something that shouldn't be dropped as though it was nothing, huh.

[Yosuke laughs nervously, trying to make it more of a joke, but it did not work as well as he thought. He closes his eyes as he steels his nerves just a little.]

But it is true. I haven't been back home in a long time... [He lightly scratches the back of his neck, sighing.] Anyway, yeah... welcome to Siren's Port, or whatever.

Yosuke, what I meant was where exactly are we? Where is "Siren's Port"? How did we get here? And what do you mean you haven't been in Inaba for two years? You were with us in the Laboratory 20 minutes ago.

[He is just too shocked to see the both of them. The last that he saw Souji was during the riots ... Rise and his dead body. It's more than a little weird to be talking to him now, like that didn't happen. But it seems like he doesn't remember it. Kanji was awhile ago, too, but--]

This is a city in Canada. The Core is what brought you here. It's ... well, no one really knows what it is other than it has a lot of power. It closed off this entire city so that people can't leave it, but people get dragged here for one reason or another. If you try to leave, you feel what is known as the Pull ... your heart starts to hurt.

[Crossing his arms, he continues.Honestly, I ... I come from another timeline than you guys. Like, I dunno how to explain it, man. Time works differently when you're in these cities. Back then, back when I was in Inaba, it was already December. But then I was dragged out of Inaba by one city known as NeoGenesis. We -- the friends that I made there -- were able to break free, but just before we were able to go ( ... )
