[It's rather early in the morning when this post hits the network, a testament to one young woman's growing insomnia. At least, this time, she used it towards something more productive.]
Good morning, Siren's Port. We've had several new people flooding into the diamond and Tower Apartments this week. I know that the accommodations aren't exactly up to par with what you may be used to, but it's all we have for now. They're safe and they'll keep you away from the Darkness at night. That's the most important thing about them.
To those of you who don't know me, my name is Re-l Mayer. I'm a police officer at the SPPD and a Newcomer caseworker. The next couple of weeks are going to be hardest for everyone, new and old alike, and I'm here to help however I can. I was recently promoted at work... [A brief pause, mostly out of slight embarrassment.] I can't promise that I'll be able to fix everything but I can certainly lend a hand and try.
For now, I have something for all of the Newcomers to take a look at. It should help you during your stay here. It's not quite finished and I'm looking for any and all help to complete it, but it should be able to provide you with enough information to last you.
[Attached will be a
document that every NV can open and read.]
There are several contact numbers in there for people who need assistance, whether it be monetary or otherwise. If all else fails, you can always contact me over the NV. My number is
here if you need anything and I'll try to get you in touch with someone who can help you, if nothing else.

I'm taking some time off for the next few days so I can try to help the new arrivals as much as possible. If you need me for anything, I'll be around.
Fratley, if you'd be kind enough, I need you to talk to the chief about installing new security measures on the archives room and on any evidence. It needs to be twice backed up in case anything happens, all right? I need to look into a few things.
[ooc: By "friends", I just mean anyone who's in close acquaintance with her, talks to her outside of work, etc. If you think you're a friend, you probably are!]
