Many of you believe that, because some old superstitious men dubbed me the Prince of Lies, it would only be fitting to be duplicitous with me.

[Mercy leans forward, and rests her elbows on her knees. Two cats wind around her legs, where she's sitting in the chair. A golden sheep dangles from a chain around her neck. Her fingers play with it briefly.]

I am going to say something, and please do not take offense. I do not believe that there can be rebellion against God. If people truly believed Him the All Knowing Being that they think they do, they would realize that He saw it happening and probably wanted it to happen.

Angels cannot lie. They were never given the ability. They can just not say the entirety of the truth, or omit portions of it, but everything they say is true... from a certain point of view.
