It...might be easier if you started asking questions so others could answer. There's a lot to explain about this place.

[He nods] I understand. I suppose I should start with the monsters. What can I expect from that? [As crazy as it is, Blaine is going to try to accept that they are true instead of calling all of these strangers liars.]

Well, luckily I haven't run into any yet, but from what I hear, you don't want to be stuck outside all night. They come out at night, which is why the sirens sound. They signal when it's dangerous to stay outside at night and then when it's safe to go back outside in the morning. The buildings are all Darkness-Proofed so that monsters as well as the decay that falls over the city can't enter buildings.

If you have an ability, you may be able to hold off the monsters until morning, though I hear the strongest people have trouble with that. If you're ever stuck outside, it would be best to use your NV and call someone or post on the Network as soon as possible.

[Souji blinks for a second, then laughs a bit, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly]

Yeah, although "super powers" almost makes it sound like we're super heroes and villains running around.

Video--heh. Yes he's a pretty one.

[Sadly, Souji won't offer information about himself unless explicitly asked most of the time. His face takes on a look of concern.]

You'll want to stay near someone who has them then, especially if you're doing anything near Siren time. You may have yet undiscovered abilities though. The Core can mess around with people's abilities, so maybe it can give them too.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you.

[He's quiet for a period of time. He hadn't had any idea he had any type of powers until the Shadows were about to kill he and Yosuke.]

I don't really have experience with how other people discovered their powers. Mine only appeared when a friend and I were in danger.

No, so I guess what I say might not apply here. I suppose it's hard to discover abilities for the first time if you're not in need of them at that moment.

It's...somewhat hard to describe.

I can summon what are called Personae. Right now, I have eight of them, each with different powers, ranging from healing to electric and fire attacks.

I've been specifically told by a friend of mine not to display my powers too openly around here. Apparently, the two companies that run the city, SERO and AGI, will take an interest if you display interesting enough powers.
