[Blaine is still a little in shock. He's wearing his school uniform but it's a little worse for wear. He doesn't mean to be out in the open, but he couldn't just stay in that room doing nothing. He's trying to get his bearings, figure out for himself exactly what he's going to do

As unlikely as it may sound, what you were informed of when you arrived is true. It would seem that what brought us here has been inactive for some time, though the recent influx of individuals throughout this month now suggests otherwise.

You too, though you seem to be handling yourself well.

I have been here for a little time, enough to accustom myself.

[He nods] Do you mind if I ask where you're from?

[possiblycantdie]

I am from London.

[mediumdrip]

That's what I thought because of your accent, but given that we're all from different universes it would be silly to judge something like that wouldn't it? [pause, cautiously, as politely as possible considering that he thinks that some people would considered the question to be nosy] Does your world have 'abilities' and things like that?

[possiblycantdie]

You make a sensible point. And what of you? [ Because she's only really known the one American. There's a pause before she replies, also ] I have known some, but they are few.

I'm American. I'm from Ohio. [pause] The reason I ask is because I've been told I might end up developing some. I'm worried about what I should be on the lookout for, if you have any pointers?

I am afraid that I do not. While I know of some I do not know much of them. There are many types, though even those that are destructive in nature are not if used carefully. [ Experience speaks ;; ]

[mediumdrip]

[He nods, taking in the information] It's possible I might not develop abilities at all, isn't it?

[possiblycantdie]

There is that chance. [ It's not so far fetched ] Does that worry you?

[mediumdrip]

No. It seems like something else to worry about. I'd rather focus on making sure that Kurt and I are safe.

[possiblycantdie]

You know Kurt? [ She thinks his voice is beautiful, if a little odd that it even affected her. And... she does not entirely know why she's doing this but: ] If you need anything do ask.

I do. He's my boyfriend. You've met him?

[ Boyfriend? Oh her poor brain ] I spoke with him after he arrived.
