No, I know. I was just.. maybe looking for tips. If any actually exist, on dealing with it. I don't exactly have a therapist on hand, either..

I am not certain if I know any to give, though I do understand your questioning. For most where I come from the knowledge of creatures - albeit not entirely similar nor dissimilar to those in the Darkness - is unknown. For those that do discover them or are brought into the knowing? [ She remembers well how she first felt, and the reaction that Will had when he began working for her ] It is easy to see why people become shocked. It's enough to know the things that humans can do but the knowledge that creatures of myths are in fact real?

I can only advise that any exposure - if you must expose yourself to the Darkness - is done gradually, and minimally with the threats present. Learning about the creatures - even creatures of other worlds if not the Darkness - may also help. It will inform you about them but also help provide you with a defence if one is needed.
