- Will the Show Go On?
Today's article discusses the slavery trial, which will continue this Tuesday. It addresses doubts that many observers are expressing over whether a certain attorney - Mr. Diego Armando - will even be able to make it through the trial. His health is extremely frail, according to anonymous source, who also stated that he had a liver transplant only a few months ago. Will he be able to keep up with the stress of the trial? Or will the hearing end with his collapse?

- More concerns arise over the Darkness-infected stray cats after a video was sent to the Caregood Pound showing several of them violently attacking and eating each other. The last surviving cat has since been recovered and taken for testing to see whether their violence is tied to the parasite causing them distress after sirens. The man who witnessed and filmed these disturbing occurrences has asked not to be identified.

- There was another breakout last night at St. Teresa's Sanitarium in Sector 5. This morning Lawrence Kelley, part of the hospital's night security staff, was found dead in the cell of the Newcomer called Joker with his neck snapped and his uniform removed. It is believed the Joker hid during rounds and attacked the guard when he came to check on him. Joker's current whereabouts are unknown but he is to be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Harleen Quinzel, another patient at the hospital, is also missing and is to be approached with caution.

- An article details a mysterious white substance that police have found cropping up at the sights of numerous locations over the city, often related to nearby crimes. Dotted along the city, a collection of this strange substance has been taken and shipped to SERO lab to be tested and researched. "It's incredibly strong, almost like that of a spiders silk, but whatever is it must be an enormous spider. While a strong adhesive, it also appears to dissolve within the hour." Research on the substance is being requested by the government, but is spearheaded by SERO labs.

- Riley Ripley, Sparks Casino’s Dealer-on-the-run with a long lawsuit pending her arrest, has been sighted again by an anonymous caller, who told the SPPD tip-line that he glimpsed her briefly at Knot-A-Fight Club’s Sunday Night Sock ‘em Match. Several spectators were later kicked out of the club for “appearing underage”, while others hobbled out white-haired or balding. It looks like Ms. Ripley is still up to running her gambling circuit, though some doubt she’s doing it for profit at all.
