[If he had his way, he would want Yosuke back in Inaba where he didn't have to be in this type of danger all of the time. All of this was Souji's worst nightmare--his friends getting hurt and he not being able to do anything about it.

Knowing that Shikamaru and Yosuke were good friends and that Shikamaru would likely only see him again in Siren's Port forced him to keep his opinion to himself.
