I was sick last night.  [She sounds pretty startled about it; she was a pretty healthy child, and hasn't been sick for a long time.]  I had to go home from work early.  I thought I might be coming down with something, but... I'm fine today.

That's not normal, is it?  It's not something from this place that I've missed?  I'm fairly sure it wasn't

Um, I threw up twice and... I was a bit out of it too.

I dunno... sure sounds like it might've been something that you ate to me. That's why you've always gotta take a deep, long whiff of things before you put them into your mouth!

[She chuckles, thinking about what her sergeant would have said about that.] I guess I should. I'll remember that next time.

What was it, anyway, that you ate? I'm thinking that I'll want to avoid it... just in case.

I had toast in the morning, then some tea at the greeters meeting. It might have been the milk? I'm not sure.

Huh... you probably would have noticed if that had gone off. Maybe something you had the day before? It's usually meat that does it, especially if you ignore other people's warnings because you're hungry.
