Two months in and I think I've found what my power is. Actually I've known for awhile. I just now have come to accept that I'm okay with it. Does anyone have any experience with intelligence based abilities? I know it isn't all that normal, but then neither is having super human abilities in the first place.

I'd just like to talk.

The rate at which I process information.

A boost, in effect. [ That was new ] Was there anything in particular you were querying about it? [ She was assuming that this was what the woman wanted to talk about ]

I've known another who had his intelligence heightened - expanded, possibly even increasing the rate of information processing too. He isn't here but I know enough to answer questions if that's what you require.

No specific questions. I just wanted to know about it. Limitations, if it changed them, what does someone do with it... general things.

It will only change it if you allow it to - as it's something mental you're in full control of how you let it affect you, something that it needn't do on a general basis. [ I.e. personality wise ]

For limitations it would be to the extent of the 'boost' - I presume the speed of the processing has only been accelerated to decrease the cognition time by a little rather than completely eliminating it? [ I.e. she still had to think rather than instantaneously knowing something ]

For doing... again it is your own mind. How you use it, what you choose to work on need not be affected. Information processing wouldn't add to knowledge unless you added to it yourself.

Logically I know all of that. On my end, nothing has really changed. I simply read faster and am able to go above simply comprehending it. I guess I was expecting it to be more of a big deal.

It only needs to be that if you wish it to be. Many find, even discovering abilities later in their life that little has to change for them.

That's a good way of looking at it. I've always been me. I'm still me now. Nothing changed. But nothing has to change.

It's all a case of being able to work it into how you already live and making adjustments if necessary to accommodate the new addition to yourself. Nothing major often ever needs to be affected.

Thank you. You've really put it in away that makes sense to me. Everything was just... complicated, and there was no reason for it.
