[Oh boy. Well, he's glad to see she's here now, 'cuz Sora and Riku are undoubtedly happy about it, but she probably won't be too happy to see him. They didn't exactly part ways on the best of terms. He should say something... but what do you say to someone you kidnapped? An awkward moment of hemming and hawing and he finally sets up a filter and gives her an unsure look for just a moment before venturing a grin. Might as well just be himself; no sense trying to be anyone else anymore--he's through playing parts as others demand.]

[W-well, it's a start. He only hopes she won't bite him on-sight if they ever happen to pass on the street.]

[One hand goes to the back of his neck and he averts his eyes briefly.] So, I'm not lookin' for trouble, for the record.

Yeah, actually, I did. Here, anyway. Didn't have quite so much luck back home, exactly, but in the end I'd say it all worked out.

[A beat of silence and he looks uncomfortable for a moment, then purses his lips.]

Sorry I freaked you out and dragged you into a corridor and then let Saïx get his hands on you. [This is muttered, low and fast though at no cost to the sincerity of it. He means what he says. He lifts his eyes without lifting his head and gives her a sort of hangdog look.] Hope he didn't hurt you too much; he's kind of an asshole. [Well she looks to be all in one piece anyway.

It's okay, Axel. I think we're good now. Especially after an apology like that. And he didn't lay a hand on me. Mostly he just told me I was going to be a bait for Sora and kept me in a cage.
