[As the little flame between his fingers catches the fabric of the couch, Axel lets out a rather unbecoming squawk and shoots a look at the NV that teeters somewhere between outright indignation and something like honest surprise. How the hell did she do that? She must have done something! ... What the hell did she do?

[He stares at his hands for an instant, then discovering he has full control of both of them again he snaps them apart to extinguish the flames instantaneously. Er... dammit, he hopes he won't have to pay for that.

[Glancing back at the NV, he stars at the strange grey girl a moment, and a thin, grinch-like smile curls fiendishly over his lips.]

Now that's a handy trick, little miss. Handy indeed~ I know better than to ask for an explanation of the smoke and mirrors behind a good magic show, but I think I can say you've got my attention.

[ Arrogance could really be a handicap, but Vriska never really had any problem talking herself up, whether she deserved it or not. At least this was one of those times were she might be somewhat validated. ]

I'm just thinking how pretty all the ports could be engulfed in flames! I'm sure it would be a very compelling argument to anyone who doesn't want to listen to the Terrible Mindfang and her crew.
