Well you are missing out the possibility that this could all be a constructed universe made for the amusement of what to us would be divine beings, as well as just being an elaborate joke made to mess with people. I'm of the opinion it doesn't really matter that much anyway, may as well make the best out of it.

Yes, but that wouldn't tell anyone what makes this place different from everywhere else. And I think it does matter. It matters quite a lot, really.

Well as for my universe, I'm pretty well aware who created that. As to this place, I have no clue. Multiple universes happen, I'm not too fussed about it.
