[When Demyx wakes up, things are pretty normal. The sirens have passed, the sun was just starting to peak, and his bed was nice and warm. ...A little too warm. So when he attempetd to roll over onto the cooler spot of the bed, he found himself rooted to the spot and an uncomfortable tightness around his midsection. A simple glance down would've

and then a sigh of relief.]
You scared me for a second. ...You sure it's clear?

Actually I'm pretty sure it's opaque, but who's counting? [Courtesy pause.] Your door is still closed and I didn't hear it open, so I assume she's still in there.
How the hell do you find these people, Demyx?

Lost puppies can't climb in windows on the 9th floor, Demyx. [He gives him a slightly disconcerted look.] She's gotta have some crazy power or something, like portals or insubstantiality or... Light only knows what. And if that's the case, walls aren't gonna keep her out.
[He purses his lips and turns one palm ceilingward.]
You want I should just toast her? That'd solve our problem right quick.
[He's... well, half-kidding.]

[He cringes at the tone of his own voice, lowering it down to a whisper.]
No. ...I don't wanna give these locals another reason to dislike us. They've got this 'Mothers Against Newcomers' thing already and the last thing we need is one of 'em getting on our backs for roasting her nineteen-year old kid. Besides, I wouldn't really... I dunno if I could deal with that on my conscience for the rest of my life. Y'know how I am, Axel. And if by some miracle she survived it, well... Just imagine how much pain she'd be in.
[He casts a glance over to his door, back to Axel, then down at his toes.]
I guess you could probably scare her a little though if it'd work.

[And then he chuckles.]
If you want me to try and scare her off, though... I mean, it could be fun. [And then he wags a finger.] We should see if we can't figure out how the hell she got in here first, though--can't safeguard against the unknown.

[He nods slightly, crossing his arms over his chest.] Think she could've picked the lock?

[And then he makes a face.]
Picked the lock. On your window? [He shakes his head.] Man, I'm more interested in how she got to the ninth floor and stuck herself there long enough to pick a lock than the idea that she might have a future as a locksmith. [He folds his arms again.] I'm pretty sure she must have come in through your window, either way: your door squeaks--if she'd opened it I probably would have heard it.
