I'd like to thank you for your efforts with Jinx. Putting yourself ahead of the danger, as reckless as it was was thoughtful. [ There's also an essence of 'don't do it again' to her tone ]

You're welcome. I did my best.

From what I hear you did well. You took quite a risk, however. Were you aware that this would happen? I recall that you mentioned headaches at one point.

Well I... I knew of the complications, yes. Was I aware they'd get this bad? Not so much.

It was brave, and highly reckless. How much do you know of your power, other than the effects of it?

That it can heal just about anything, provided there aren't forces working against it. That was the case this time.

Have you been given an explanation as to the adverse effects of it?

I sort of know firsthand.

No one really knows. I've gone through extensive testing, and I'm really quite tired of it.

I actually may have a theory. Energy transference.

Come again?

I've seen abilities of a similar nature before. Energy transference works as it sounds - for example charging up something electronic, you're taking the electricity and turning it into power for the item. In abilities such as yours describes you're transferring your healthy, positive energy into healing but as a result you're not simply healing them - the injury or illness has to go somewhere and it's been given back to you. The stronger the injury the stronger it will affect you, no doubt hence why it's only this recent incident that's placed you in the hospital.

I kind of figured it was something like that, honestly.

It would only show in testing if you were using your ability on someone during it, something which I currently wouldn't advise.

You need to be careful, particularly after this incident and especially until your recovery is complete.

Seriously, did everyone just miss the fact that I just clearly and explicitly announced that I'm not going to sing anymore? Maybe I'll shoot it across the sky with fireworks next time.
