09 Ninth Petal [Accidental video - late night]
[Anyone who is sensitive to it would have felt the flare of reiatsu that meant that someone was fighting. However, it wasn't an explosion, so he's holding his own, thank you very much. The NV clatters to the ground and turns on to show Byakuya with Senbonzakura out, and a cowering woman that had, possibly, been caught out after sirens.
He hasn't entered shikai and certainly not bankai because he's learning something about the creature that attacked him in the Dark.
The hadou sparks, but fizzles out and doesn't reach the target. The thing lashes out and Byakuya dances back, slashing with Senbonzakura, but the thing... It grabs the blade and yanks him forward, smacking him away. The blade comes free of the monster with a soft sucking sound.
The NV doesn't show what happened, but there's a soft grunt of pain and the wet breathing of the monster that's merely a shadow.
Then, Byakuya's feet are in the picture again, but now, there's blood on his pants, slowly leaking down the fabric to drop against the ground.]
Run.
[The woman breaks out of her frozen terror and races away. Byakuya stands his ground. The fight disappears from the NV again, and there comes that soft sucking sound and a small splat.
... Then it's quiet, save for the harsh human breathing. Byakuya doesn't reach for the NV, though a bloody hand is visible. He's quiet for a moment, when he realizes the thing is on and recording. When he speaks, he's quiet, authoritative and trying to not sound like he's in pain.]
