I am not actually in charge of the Newcomer fund. You would have to ask Ms. von Karma, since she holds onto it ever since Mr. Edgeworth left.

They've been good. They love the gifts you got them for the holidays. [Chuckles.] Though I wish I could get them to take a break.

I'm glad. They're good at baking also, perhaps you could distract them on that? [ It's a dangerous idea and she knows it, but it would be a break ]

Hopefully they left one for you to try. [ Or rather hopefully Nana did. Helen had taken some herself in a wish to see what their efforts had been like ]

That I'll need to take a look into, see if there's anything that I can find. [ She'd certainly be taking part in the auction, though ]

Anything, really. It doesn't need to be an item. It can be something like a service.

In certain cases.

Ones that may not be appropriate for an auction. [ She may have been teaching Claire self-defense but having that auctioned? She wasn't quite sure about that. She could cook well enough but not enough to offer that ]
