It's easier to train them with positive reinforcement, so make sure you have a lot of treats around. Patience is a pretty good thing to have, too.

Yeah, that's what I'm told by the trainer. But she's incredibly greedy, she's getting into the habit of nearly biting my fingers off when I give her a treat.

My mom used a little discipline with her show dog. Not too much, but enough so he stopped trying to eat her fingers.

Oh, I got that shit all over me, and I keep using Febreeze. I just don't wear it out in public anymore.
