The weather for today is warm, sunny, and clear, with a light wind and blue skies with high fluffy white clouds. The clouds seem to be taking on very clear shapes today, so if you go cloud watching you might see something funny or interesting. High of 20°C and a low of 12°C (68°F/54°F).
Morning sirens will go off at 6 am, and evening sirens will go off at 9:30 pm.

Strange Explosions Cause Ruckus
This article reports on a series of strange explosions that have happened around the City. The report states that the explosions have happened in various parts of the City over the course of the past week or two. The first explosion was noted as the one in the subway system, which caused significant delays to many commuters and which was believed to be the fault of a newcomer. However, the next series of explosions, happening in the Tower Apartments caused some witnesses and experts to think that these explosions may in fact be some sort of terrorist attack on the newcomers, especially after the recent string of attacks and murders of newcomers. However, this theory was proved false when, over the next several days, explosions rocked other locations in the City and caused a significant ruckus.
The other attacks were as followed: On May 10th, the first explosions were followed by a series of explosions in the industrial sector near the docks, where several crates of fireworks were lit on fire and exploded in a pretty, if costly, display of light. Early this morning, these were followed by an attack on an insect farm in the agricultural district, which damaged a warehouse and set free several thousand butterflies.
The article closes off stating that the most recent explosions have caused no loss of human life, and have seemed more mischievous than anything else. The reporter speculates that they may not be related to the initial two attacks due to the more frivolous nature and lack of human damage.
Freed Butterflies Swarm City - Reward For Returns!
This article is reporting on the explosion at a butterfly sanctuary in the agricultural district mentioned in the previous article for the day. The article elaborates on the explosion at Mason's Butterfly Sanctuary, which houses thousands of butterflies of various rare varieties, from North American to International varieties as breeding stock and for the purposes of research. There is a blurb about the importance of conserving these rare butterflies, both for the purpose of pollination and to make sure they don't go extinct.
It goes on to state that the explosion caused damage to the roof of one of the warehouses where the butterflies were stored, and the containment areas were compromised, resulting in the loss of several thousand rare and expensive butterflies. Mason's Butterfly Sanctuary has offered a $50 reward for every butterfly that is returned safe, alive, and healthy to the sanctuary, in an effort to recover these rare, delicate, and important butterflies.

Farmer's Market on Friday
The article is about an upcoming farmer's market - an act of rebellion at the recent snowstorm and previous storm that have torn up the agricultural district. The farmer's market will highlight stock, fruit, and vegetables that have survived the storms and are beautiful despite the inclement weather. There will be stalls selling baked goods, handicrafts, and fruits and vegetables from the denizens of the agricultural district. During the day there will be a children's petting zoo provided where parents, children, and anyone else can meet and play with animals from various farms, including goats, pigs, cows, and even a pony! There will also be a dance in the late afternoon with live music provided by musicians from the agricultural district.
