It's not so much gossip as me being curious how relationships work, and how you make them last. I've... I've never really had anything that went beyond a one night stand, so I don't know. I'd like to know what I did wrong. Or what could have been better. Things like that, I doubt you care about them very much.

Maybe she thought it was a great opportunity. Maybe there is something special about having children - wanting to have children - that I don't understand. And probably never will.

No, they're not. But I don't doubt that they feel differently about some things. There's probably a world of difference between carrying a child and simply fathering one. ....

If you ask me, you share more similarities with your mother than with me, even though there was nothing of her in Les Enfants Terribles, as far as I know.
