[all things considered, Vanitas has it pretty good here in Siren's Port: three meals a day, agreeable old Baldynort to mooch off of, Darkness bros crawling around after sirens, certain someones who can't keep running away forever-- not when they're pulled back here just as strongly as he is.]
[heck, life would be going his way if it weren't for one trick in his arsenal that Vanitas just hasn't been able to get together since arriving. unfortunately for rainbows and sunshine here, said trick requires him to start relying on the twerps he hears yammering away on his NV day and night-- not exactly the ideal tactic for someone who functions best in the shadows. so when he poses a fairly harmless question to the network:]
