It's funny how easy things turn around to go back to the way they were before. Not "ha-ha" funny. It was just a little while ago that the whole city was excited about Christmas. You couldn't get away from it. So I guess it's good I didn't mind. And that went on for weeks and weeks. Then in just one day it happened and then it was all done. There was a lot I used to pass that had signs about how great its real Christmas trees were, and this week I saw a bunch of them in people's garbage cans. Just trash now. I guess they were useful while they needed to be.
The new year was a big deal before it happened, too, and now it's just this year. And those are just holidays. People come and go, too. I don't think that makes them less important after they're gone, though. Or after they come back.
Christmas was good, though. I had a lot of fun even before it was here. If anyone who doesn't know about this world's holidays wants to learn, they should ask my friend Tamaki. He showed me everything I needed to know about this one. Sledding was really cool. I don't think I was very good at making paper snowflakes, though. But they were still pretty.
...sorry. I guess I'm not talking about anything important. Some people have said how they woke up and found munny in their apartments, or important stuff from home. I found an old diary I used to keep. I left it behind even before I came to this world, so I don't know why it should be here now. But reading the stuff I used to write about made me think. Maybe I look back too much.

I saw Vanitas the other day. He did something...weird. He made something. It looked like a little plant, but it was alive. And angry. Do you guys know what it is?

I met Vanitas again.
Don't yell.
