Where: Underground carnival.
Summary: For the first time since coming here Sora actually meets with a Nobody on purpose. The reason: Axel got a job at the carnival and asked Sora to show him around.

To be honest he'd been kind of surprised to receive that text message from Axel, and was even more shocked when asked to meet up with him. They hadn't seen each other in person since before they arrived in this world, back when the Nobody had faded away. Not to mention all of the other things that seemed to be standing in the way. Last time they talked Sora had offered a place to live but again there were those things blocking the path.
Really Sora understood that Axel was Roxas and Xion's friend first and more like an acquaintance to him. Someone who'd given up his life for him, so he could continue on to find his friends - to defeat Xemnas and the rest of the Organization - was more than an acquaintance but Sora hesitated to use the word "friend". More complications to add to the ever growing pile. Was this crossing into dangerous territory with his own Nobody? Should he turn back?
No. He'd made this decision and Axel was the one who asked for it so why should Roxas' opinion matter?
It did though. There was no way that it couldn't matter just a little. Still it wasn't enough to make Sora turn around and make the walk back home.
So he continued on, towards the large gates he was so familiar with by now. Arms went up and his hands locked behind his head in what was a definite Sora pose that meant he was relaxed even though inside he really wasn't. This week, the next couple of days were supposed to be fun. That's what turning 16 was all about, right?
Once he reached the gate curious eyes immediately started the search for the familiar red-head or even the black Organization coat. If it was out there in the crowd somewhere, Sora would spot it as he always did. Of course he was also prepared for an entrance via corridor of darkness and chose a spot sort of away from the bustling crowd just in case.
