just fine while it lasts.

Who: Lexaeus and Roxas.
When: After-siren of Friday the 3rd. Not so spooky.
Where: The streets of Sector 4.
Summary: Monsters aren't heartless, but Nobodies are. It makes for an odd clash, for Roxas to show off his Hero side in.
Warnings: Really, really slow tags.

Working at the Lion's Gate didn't necessarily mean he would be out after siren. Working at the Lion's Gate and looking through about three different grocery stores for the extra right produce didn't even mean that he would be out after siren; the darkness portals, while they couldn't get him off the island, worked just fine around the city, even if they had to keep the use of it down.

What did necessitate going out after siren was patrols.

Or, more like, after finishing helping one person back into the apartments, he couldn't just use a portal to get back to his own. And that would be why he was outdoors a few hours after siren, tomahawk in hand but completely clean - not a shred of panic or hurry in his steps, even if things were growling and snapping in the alleyways beside him. They'd attack eventually, he knew, but that time was at least a minute in coming.

Better to just enjoy the peace while it lasted, was "Benjamin's" idea. There wasn't a lot of it around, especially since that operation had been put into motion. Vexen would pay them a visit sooner or later, he knew...

Ah, well. Later.

roxas, lexaeus
