Right after Ventus had shown up in Siren's Port, Roxas had needed the days off. He hadn't been able to concentrate on anything but this latest identity crisis and what it could mean. Now that he had a legitimate day off, though, he found himself wanting to go back to work. It'd give him a distraction from everything.
It wasn't that he could shrug off Ven's eerie resemblance to him now. That wouldn't be happening any time soon. But at least Ven had turned out to be an all right guy, and there were other things to worry about-Xehanort's appearance on the network, his fight with Joe. It would be nice to focus on something as simple as coffee.
But here he was at home, eating some reheated macaroni for lunch. He poked at the limp noodles, debating whether he really wanted to finish. Maybe Xact would eat it if he didn't.
