Why she could possibly be in such a pleasant mood was beyond her, but Kei wasn't about to fight it. Messy, slushy sidewalks and downpours were miserable enough without a miserable disposition to boot. And, somehow, she'd just happened to wake up and feel lighter of mind than she'd felt in a while. Why question it? If it was a problem, then whatever problem it was would arise later. No need to pick it apart right away.
Her pleasant mood had wound up giving her even more to be pleased with: something to do. Even if it was simply going to visit a familiar face, it was still something she'd rather do than nothing at all. Trying to tack down an overall purpose for herself being there at all was frustrating; she could put it aside for some company. On-the-job company, even.
It was a chilly, rather extensive walk from where she'd been to the shop she was headed. Long enough to put sour moods into sourer ones, but she skirted enough slush-splashing taxi tires and weaved past enough hustling pedestrians to avoid any severe damage to her disposition. If anything, it felt nice to be able to catch someone's newspaper before it hit the wet ground and slam a car door for a rushed mother on her way to the Kahve. Little things.
She entered fairly inconspicuously, hooded and sopping wet from the walk. It was a light, pleasant sigh that marked her as something a bit strange, flipping her hood back and shaking hair out of her face. Remnants of her facial wound remained - would remain indefinitely, apparently - but were hardly that glaring anymore. Just a narrow line down the side of her face and nothing to feel too overly self-conscious about as far as she was concerned.
It wasn't even on her mind, eyes scanning about for a head of familiar, pointy hair...
