Trapped in Madness: Part Two

Summary: Szayel begins his plans from SERO Headquarters. Ishida and Nill throw a wrench in his plans.

Now it was time.
He stood at the center of the room, Fornicaras held loosely in his hand, a line of blood trickling down the blade. The body of his supervisor was on the floor, a pool of red slowly spreading out through the carpet as he watched, licking his lips. Everything... everything had been so carefully planned out, so that everything led to this point. If he listened close, strained his hearing, he could hear the sounds of death rising up from the wintery mess outside. It made a shudder run through his body, a groan of pleasure rising in the back of his throat.
Szayel Aporro fought it down, however. He did not believe that he could fail -- he was perfection, after all, and so was everything that came from him -- but there was always a chance for error, however slim.
"Shikamaru-kun, guard the door," he ordered the cyborg standing by his side. He had gained a certain pleasure by having the boy by his side this entire time. Now he could not dwell on it; he moved toward the dead man's computer, sitting down at it and starting to type as fast as his fingers would allow.
After all, if he did fail, he was going to make sure he did not suffer for his actions.
