Grayson's Orchards Break-In
Who: A very motley crew-
Replica Riku, Riku, Snake, Jubilee, Kenpachi, Jinx, Yukimi, Roxas, Sander & Nagi. Plus a bunch of darkness monsters.
When: After darkness siren, Monday night (yep, we're forward-dating to give us a little more time to hash out consequential outcomes)
Where: Grayson's Experimental Orchards
Summary: Newcomers set out to steal some fruit. Haunted orchards and the monsters within prove a nasty challenge.
Warnings: General horror, combat, mutation carnage, probably some language.
Notes: Don't worry about posting order, guys. Freeform this as much as you'd like, split off into groups, NPC lesser mutation as needed, and remember that The Big Mother and her brood will be giving us hell.
A night train ticket to Orchard Stop was ten dollars. Just a handful of cherries from Grayson's trees would cover that cost twice over.
Which was all-in-all an amazing thing to 'Joe', as he stood in the deep shadows of the station stairwell, waiting for the others who said they'd be interested in coming along to go exploring. The fearless few who were also unafraid of the dark.
It was a something of an anticipatory thrill-rush, the thought that they were about to sneak in somewhere very talked about at the farmer's market, and possibly come out with something really tasty to try. The real notion that they'd be stealing, didn't cross his mind so much as the prospect of at least seeing some of the coveted fruit on these supposedly amazing trees. Maybe tasting too, but not till morning, as he'd been warned.
The creatures of the dark seemed to stir a little thicker here. The replica could sense their nearby presence, even through there wasn't any movement in the road, or from what he could see beyond the orchard gates.
He'd bought some rope along in his backpack, unsure of how any of the others planned on getting over the orchard wall, or past the gates. Luckily, Grayson's didn't seem to have much by way of security guards. Maybe they figured the legends of night terrors would be scary enough to keep the curious few out.
They were wrong.
