Who: Vexen and Roxas
When: this evening/late afternoon
Where: the streets somewhere
Summary: Roxas is far too happy, so obviously someone has to fix that. Also Project i.
Warnings: troll in the dungeon. That and spoilers.

The issue of the whole matter, Vexen decided, was how indulgent the gesture truly was. Project i, as ordered by Xemnas what seemed like ages ago, had little value in this place. In the city, under the 'Pull,' his efforts centered around, should center around study of the darkness. It was only a matter of time before the subtle effects threatened to erase them from existence entirely, irreversibly. He had already died twice, he held no delusion that there would be another chance.

Yes, it was indulgent but really, Project i was a great work. What scientist could resist learning of the fruits of his labor, or deny the fascinating phenomena occurring with Riku and Roxas's memories? Of course he was certain Zexion wouldn't approve, considering his continued efforts to sway Roxas back. Of course the neophyte wouldn't see the good in releasing his true memories.

Children, they never learned proper gratitude.

Regardless, he would learn. Vexen leaned back in the alcove of one of the buildings, watching his new work stop in place. It was nothing but a shell, an unstable, inferior bastard of a replica but it would serve it's purpose. The same basic dimensions of Project i, only a shadowed cloak, programmed to do nothing more than find and hopefully trigger Roxas's memories. They were still there of course, only... covered. Stuck, if he was being colloquial.

Now, only to wait and see how thick the boy's head actually was.
