ERSATZ INTRO POST
Sneaking in amongst the current wave of new meat is an impostor. Those of you familiar with Kuroshit canon know that Grell has a second persona - he masquerades as a mild-mannered, excitable, incompetent butler. Canonically, it's a perfect disguise; even the demon Sebastian is unable to see Butler!Grell as anything but human.
In addition, he's managed to secure a little bit of help, both in masking whatever traces of his supernatural aura (or reiatsu for you Bleach folks!) still remain, and making sure his NV filtering is clever enough to hide him from the few folks at SP who do know his butler persona.
Butler!Grell went by his own name in the story; but here everybody has been exposed to his creeping. So to stay incognito he'll be using a pseudonym: say hello to Clifford South. But not too loudly, or he'll have a heart attack!
...actually I decided to go with Eric Slingsby as a pseudonym, which is a kind of Kuroshit in-joke. Eric Slingsby is a character from the Kuroshit Musical.
