Seeing as I am the newly-appointed Haiku Master...

A correction has to be made, and I will attempt to do so in Haiku form...

The word "world" has
two syllables. I don't speak
Spanish but I think...

...that bien and the
word lengua have two and
three syllables each.

Did that work? Maybe not. But you get the picture. I understand the pronunciation of the words "lengua" and "bien" make them sound like one or two syllable words, but the actual syllabic breakdown might prove otherwise.

It really stinks that I care....
:-)

World can't have two syllables...it only contains one vowel.

I believe the world lengua is two syllables and bien is only one, but I will look into this.

Thank you for your insight; it is much appreciated.

Soon I shall have to right a Haiku about you, oh wise one.

Peace out.

I stand corrected. I actually checked the pronunciation key at www.dictionary.com and you were right about "world." Congrats.

As for the espanol, I'll take your word for it.

I really don't care this much about haiku, but it's been fun! Keep up the good work, grasshopper.
