Natalie and I are going to get a pet fox named Renard when we move in together. There's a breeder in Indiana that sells kits for $350. Yes, I know they are stinky. You know what else I know? FOXES ARE GREAT

How is it legal to breed foxes as pets? That strikes me as something that would have many laws against it.

Well there are lots of regulations, and you have to get a license. And certain breeds are illegal in some states (for good reason). We'll be getting a fennec fox, which apparently make much better pets than red/gray foxes.
