Even for the teabaggers, i was kinda gobsmacked at the magnitude of this one.

Spider Robinson mentions the term "Rupture" in reference to dialogue as: the point where at least one party realizes that there exists a gulf of non-understanding between those involved that makes the Marianas Trench look like a drainage ditch by comparison, and all attempts at meaningful communication up to this point have been nothing more than making noises at one another.

Holy hell, how does one even begin to talk to somebody like that... I think the answer is that You Don't. I suppose it's a textbook example of Invincible Ignorance.
