Things have been kinda nuts, lately. I've taken some time off of work, been out to see my sweeties on the west coast last weekend, and then out to anthrocon this weekend, with a 13 hour day at work in between them ( Read more... )

Hey Sirfie. Sorry I could not come to AC this year. Events late last year and a few other things made it beyond reasonable consideration. I did miss it though, and not just AC but the whole prep for and travelling to and from Pittsburgh. I hope to go again next year though, maybe will see you again there.
Glad to hear there was some fun silliness and ponies too :) Would love to have seen them but will look forward to videos and pics on internet.

Had some fun on the trip back, the PA westbound turnpike was closed. ahaha. detoured south on local roads, and got onto a parallel route through the Maryland panhandle.

Navigation accomplished with an analogue old-fashioned paper atlas in my backseat pocket. yay! I fear that's a skill that'll be rare in a generation or so.

The old map worked out good for us last year on the way there :)
And I liked the first clip you linked too, but the Anthology is superior. Also the Kenye West Power/Ponies intro is first class.

I was very happy to see you! Next year, if you're all there, I want to get you, Soba, Chiarascuro, and Boven together and go out to dinner. All four of you are cool folks that I don't get to spend enough time with and I think it'd make for a great little group. :)
